M/s K.M. Enterprises is known for developing Automation Systems and special-purpose machines for the last 30 years.
K.M. Group started business in 1983 with the first manufacturing unit in Bhiwadi Rajasthan. The first manufacturing unit was to produce surgical equipments and then we developed special-purpose machines for disposable syringes and needles. For one of our SPMS, an automatic disposable syringe assembly machine we received an award for import substitution from DGTD (Government of India).
When that market got saturated for disposable surgical equipments we developed an automatic chapati-making machine. It took us 5 years to develop that machine and we were granted a patent in the year 1999.
The first machine was sold to Hero Honda Gurgaon in 2000. The machine was ahead of its time hence it took us a year to convince someone for its use.
But soon after we were in continuous demand for this machine and we remained the only supplier for the next 8 years and market leaders till date.
There are some features in our machines that no one could copy even after 25 years and even 3 years after the validity of our patent is over.
Special Features
1) The first side baking of chapatti is on a tawa conveyor the way you make chapatis at home. This is the only machine in the world using a Tawa conveyor. For perfect & even baking of curved tawa is a must.
2) Our machine has an automatic temperature control of baking conveyors even when we are using LPG/CNG/PNG gas for heating. The problem with gas heating in the case of chapatti is that you cannot put the gas on or off to control the temperature. You have to put it on high and low flame to control it. Only our chapatti machine has this mechanism.
3) The rolling section where we have moving parts is fully covered and all adjustments and feeding of dry flour and dough are done without opening any doors. As an added safety the machine is stopped if doors open accidentally.
